Blair Horse Trials
Also known as the Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair, the Blair Horse Trials. Over 1000 horses partake in the event, and there are more than 200 stalls for visitors to browse throughout the day. Trials takes place in August
Pitlochry Highland Games
Pitlochry Games Day can attract a good crowd of up to 5,000 each year - mainly dependant on the weather! With attractions suchas Highland Dancing, Heavy Events, Track Events, Cycling and Stalls and Catering there is something for everyone at the Pitlochry Highland Games.
Aberfeldy Highland Games & Agricultural Show
The Atholl and Breadalbane Highland Games take place annually in early August. The show combines an agricultural show on the Friday and the Highland Games on the Saturday. The Aberfeldy Highland Games programme begins at 11.00am with the Highland Dancing classes and the Heavyweight events at 12.00 noon.
Etape Cycling Race
The Etape Caledonia Cycle Race is Britain’s first closed cycle race. More than 1000 cyclist will join for a glorious ride through the countryside of Highland Perthshire. The race starts and finishes in Pitlochry, and is a total of 81 miles long.
